Another day in Yangon

This morning I went to my normal breakfast place and after that I walked to see the old Synagogue. It was originally built in 1854 but replaced with present building 1896. I went in and looked around and I lit two candles for my parents!

After that I walked a long way to the Botataung Pagoda - Buddhas first sacred hair relik Pagoda!
As a tourist I had to pay an entrence fee and they took my picture to remember me! And in I went - shoes of !
This Pagoda you could walk inside and the walls were goldplated with lots of different things to see.
I walked around and suddenly I met those young munks sitting in a corner - lovely!!!

The Pagoda

A part of the wall!

The lovely young munks!

A bridge to another holy place!

This little boy showed how to ring the bell !!!

After this visit I negotiated with a taxi driver going to Inya Lake, but I decided to save that for tomorrow! The reason for me staying another two days is my Indian Visa!

I walked back to downtown and had a lunch and after that I had a Lassi (Indian youghurt drink) at a street vendor and I was sitting on a plastic chair enjoying the Lassi!

Sitting here enjoying my Lassi!

I went back and after a while I went out for my evening beer!
